Will Lee Jong Suk Enter the Army on August 10th?
Actor Lee Jong Suk has received a summon to enter the military on August 10th. Currently, Lee Jong Suk is considering several options to promote his movie, ‘VIP’.
If Lee Jong Suk enters the military on August 10, he will receive basic military training and serve as a social worker. As Lee Jong Suk has received military orders, he could not accept the offer to star in a movie titled ‘The Wicked’.
Since Lee Jong Suk has a relationship with director Park Hoon Jun through the movie ‘VIP’, in the second half of this year, he was initially scheduled to be filming ‘Wicked’. But because he got a military call, inevitably he could not do it. The movie ‘Wicked’ can not change Lee Jong Suk’s entry date to the military and decided to accept the decision.
Lee Jong Suk’s agency reported that he would do his best and set up a schedule for the promotion of the movie ‘VIP’ which will be released on August 24th. He has not even reached 30 years old, and if he delays his military service, it will give a strong influence on the promotion of ‘VIP’. If Lee Jong Suk suspends the military, he can be present on stage greeting and ‘VIP’ interviews as planned. Otherwise, on July 31st, in the press conference of ‘VIP’ and Naver Movie Talk will be his last official events before entering the military. Lee Jong Suk has completed SBS’s pre-production drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’ on July 27th. ‘While You Were Sleeping’ will air in September.
Will Lee Jong Suk choose to do his best efforts in promoting ‘VIP’, or will he choose enter the military on August 10 as scheduled? The final decision will be announced soon.
