Tae Yeon, Seol Hyun, and Yoon Kyun Sang’s Parody of Goblin’s Sword
The main character of ‘Goblin’, Kim Shin, has a sword stuck deep in his chest that only can be pulled by the Goblin’s Bride. The popularity of ‘Goblin’ made some famous Korean stars willing to do the parody of the drama by showing their sword-stabbed chest just like Kim Shin’s.
Starting from Seol Hyun, Roy Kim, Yoon Kyun Sang, Park Ji Yoon, to Kim So Hyun; they were all participated in this parody parade. On 14 January, Seol Hyun uploaded a parody picture of ‘Goblin’ on SNS. SNSD’s Tae Yeon also uploaded an edited picture of her with her chest stabbed by the Goblin’s sword, which proved the hype of the drama itself.
On January 17, Yoon Kyun Sang also uploaded a picture on his SNS with a message: “I’m a Goblin, I’ve been looking for my bride for 30 years”. Roy Kim also participated in this parade by writing a message on his SNS, “I’m looking for my bride. If you see the sword in my chest, please call me asap!” which made people laugh.
Netizens also gave various comments such as, “I will pull the sword! I see the sword! I’m the goblin’s bride!”
