‘Goblin’, “I Will Wait For You Even If It Takes 200 Years”, The Happy Ending Of Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun

Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun)’s love story finally blossomed again.

‘The Lonely and Shining Goblin’ (scriptwriter: Kim Eun Sool, director: Lee Eung Bok) which was tvN’s 10th-anniversary project, finally revealed the fateful meeting of Kim Shin and Ji Eun Tak after being separated for a long time, while also giving them the happy ending that they deserved.

Kim Shin’s heart never wavered. When they were in Canada, he professed his love for Ji Eun Tak: “I want to hold your hands, hug you, and do other things together with you”, even though she could not remember him. They went on a date and had a dinner in the restaurant that both had visited before.

Ji Eun Tak soon remembered everything that she had forgotten. She cried as she ran to look for Kim Shin, who magically appeared in front of her eyes and both exchanged a longing kiss.

After they went back to their house, Kim Shin softly told Ji Eun Tak, “I will make you happy from now on”, and Ji Eun Tak who could not believe it called him numerous times and embraced him tightly out of joy.

As the time went by, their love also grew deeper. Kim Shin proposed to Eun Tak and said, “I want to say this today because the weather is perfect, you are so beautiful, and everything about my first love is you. In this perfect day, would you be the bride of this Goryeo’s man?” Eun Tak said yes with tears rolling from her eyes.

However, their happiness didn’t last long.

The Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook) suddenly got a command to destroy his card because of an unpredictable death. After she finished her work, Ji Eun Tak got into a car accident on her way to a meeting.

She met Kim Shin again in Grim Reaper’s tea house. “I will come again soon, and I will stay by your side for a long time”, she said to him while crying. Kim Shin replied, “You have to come, even if it takes 100 or 200 years”.

Ji Eun Tak memenuhi janjinya setelah 30 tahun berlalu. Ia bereinkarnasi menjadi seorang murid SMA dan seperti sebuah takdir mereka bertemu lagi di Kanada. Ji Eun Tak fulfilled her promise after 30 years by reincarnating into a high school student and met him again in Canada, just like before.
