SNSD’s Contract With SM Entertainment Has Ended, Most of the Members Decided to Renew
SNSD, which this month has been celebrating their 10th anniversary, has entered into a period where their contract with SM Entertainment has ended and must decide for a contract extension.
Based on the news circulating in the music industry on the 16th, SNSD who has 8 members is currently discussing an extension after their contract with SM Entertainment has expired. Many members decide to renew their contracts, and some are still in the positive stages of discussions.
“We are still not sure, but we think members will stay on and feel proud of what they have done for 10 years”.
On August 5, 2007 SNSD debuted with their first single titled ‘Into The New World’, followed by ‘Gee’, ‘Tell Me Your Wish’, ‘Oh!’, And ‘I GOT A BOY’ which became a hit in Asia, the US, and Europe, and SNSD is also the representative of the K-Pop group in western countries such as North America.
2NE1, Wonder Girls, 4minute, and Sistar are the second generation female group that has split up and even so, SNSD just released their sixth album titled ‘HOLIDAY NIGHT’ on the 4th of August ago in celebration of their 10th anniversary.
