Lee Jong Suk Shares His Worries After Taking An Antagonist Character
Actor Lee Jong Suk said, “I’m afraid it’ll be hard to get into a melodrama because I’ve taken a role as a killer”.
In the crime action film ‘V.I.P’, Lee Jong Suk plays as VIP Kim Gwang Il from North Korea who’s under the secret protection of NIS and CIA.
Lee Jong Suk debuted as a model in 2005, in 2011 he starred in MBC drama ‘High Kick! 3’, in 2012 he appeared in KBS2 ‘School 2013’, in 2013 SBS ‘I Can Hear Your Voice’, in 2014 SBS ‘Doctor Stranger’, ‘Pinocchio’, and in 2016 he starred in MBC ‘W’ and Lee Jong Suk is now crowned as ‘the Drama King’ for making the drama he starred in to be a hit almost every time.
Lee Jong Suk has also amazed the viewers through the various genres and characters that he has played. In 2013 in the movie ‘The Face Reader’, 2014 ‘Hot Young Bloods’ and this time Lee Jong Suk returned to the big screen after 3 years through the movie ‘V.I.P’ which is released this summer. The most important thing is Lee Jong Suk turned into a famous killer from North Korea in the movie ‘V.I.P’.
Lee Jong Suk said, “In the movie ‘V.I.P’ I do not know that there are so many types of smiles that can be displayed at any time. I have a lot of discussions with director Park Hoon Jung to improve my acting quality”.
Lee Jong Suk added, “After releasing the movie ‘V.I.P’, my latest SBS drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’ will be airing in September. I think it might be a bit dangerous because I played Kim Gwang Il in the movie ‘V.I.P’. I smiled in melodrama, but I was afraid to see it”.
Meanwhile, the film ‘V.I.P’ is released on August 23rd in Korea.
