Ha Ji Won and Kang Min Hyuk told their pasts. On the 14th of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Hospital Ship’ episodes 11 and 12, it depicted that Kwak Hyung (Kang Min Hyuk) told Song Eun Jae (Ha Ji Won) that his father was hospitalized.
Before performing the surgery, Kwak Hyun had a different opinion with Song Eun Jae. Song Eun Jae submitted his thesis and for Kwak Hyun to perform the operation, but Kwak Hyun was upset that Song Eun Jae did not want to understand the patient’s feelings first.
Because of this different opinion, the two became a little awkward. On the hospital ship, they got the job of shopping together. Song Eun Jae only looked at the list once and instantly remembered it, at the supermarket she put things into the basket. Kwak Hyun talked with the seller in the traditional market. Song Eun Jae asked Kwak Hyun to shop quickly.
Suddenly Kwak Hyun got a call from where his father was being treated. He rushed to the car and headed for the rehab. Kwak Hyun discovered his father performing an operation in the forest with a tree. His father could not recognize him and Kwak Hyun persuaded his father to return to the hospital.
Kwak Hyun told Song Eun Jae about his father who has Alzheimer’s. He even admitted to accidentally causing a patient to die due to internal bleeding while taking care of his father in the first year. Since then, Kwak Hyun has a traumatic use of his hands in front of emergency patients.
Song Eun Jae also revealed her heart to Kwak Hyun. He asked why Song Eun Jae insisted on operating Sul Jae Chan and surrended to his thesis. Song Eun Jae explained, “My mother is dead. I was not there. Now I’m near the patients. I do not want to repeat the mistake” Kwak Hyun embraced Song Eun Jae who cried,” It’s not your fault “,he said to calm Song Eun Jae down.
