Rain and Kim Tae Hee’s Marriage and the Birth of Their First Child
Singer and actor Rain got married to Kim Tae Hee. Both have been dating for 5 years since admitting their relationship in 2013. Recently a lot of good news coming from the celebrities. Starting from marriage to the birth of the first child, this year the top couple has gotten a lot of attention.
Rain and Kim Tae Hee’s first encounter was in October 2011. Both met through the shoot of the last advertisement before Rain entered the military. Rain and Kim Tae Hee became a commercial model for social commerce, becoming close at the end of 2012 and officially announced their relationship in 2013. The dating relationship turned into marriage. In 2014, Rain was baptized at Gyeonggi-do Catholic church, following Kim Tae Hee’s religion to marry her. That is because when an atheist marries a Catholic, he must first be baptized.
Finally, in January of this year Rain and Kim Tae Hee announced their wedding by posting a handwritten letter to their SNS. In a letter posted on Jan. 17, Rain wrote “The woman (Kim Tae Hee) is the most beautiful gift of my life” showing his love for his wife. Two days later Rain and Kim Tae Hee posted their second wedding ceremony photo at the Seoul church on January 19th.
Their love for each other can be witnessed when Rain and Kim Tae Hee went on honeymoon in Bali, Indonesia on 23 January. The airport was filled with journalists and fans, Rain did not let go of Kim Tae Hee’s hands and both looked cute.
Last May, Rain and Kim Tae Hee announced Kim Tae Hee’s pregnancy four months after the wedding. At the same time, Kim Tae Hee was rumored to take a break focusing on her 15-week old pregnancy. On the 25th, Rain posted a photo of the Instagram with the caption “Thank you. My beautiful little daughter. May you grow up to be a useful child.” Rain also added the hashtag #blessing.
