‘Hospital Ship’ Episodes 39 and 40, The Slow-Paced Romance With Happy Ending
Before the last episode, the main character was diagnosed with cancer, but the story still ended happily. On the 2nd, in Wednesday-Thursday drama MBC ‘Hospital Ship’ Song Eun Jae (Ha Ji Won) was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, she overcame the disease and returned to the hospital ship. She also ensured her love for Kwak Hyun (Kang Min Hyuk) and got happy ending.
Eun Jae did not want to show her pain in front of Kwak Hyun. She left everything in the hospital, kept secrets about her illness and went on to heal herself. But Kwak Hyun accidentally saw the results of Song Eun Jae’s X-Ray and knew about the disease and looked for her.

After surgery, Eun Jae returned to the hospital in good health and happiness. She also began to believe that she loves Kwak Hyun who is always there beside her even in difficult times.
‘Hospital Ship’ is a medical drama that tells doctors with different backgrounds who conduct medical activities on hospital ships and establish communication with people on the island with poor medical infrastructure. Ha Ji Won returns to the screen after two years as the center of a drama. Also, her collaboration with new artist Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Seo Won, Kim In Sik, and Kwon Min Ah has become a topic of conversation.
‘Hospital Ship’ has been a topic of conversation with a fresh story and visual beauty of the clinics on the island. Since its premiere, the drama was able to earn a 10% rating. This is also Ha Ji Won’s first character as a doctor since her debut and increasingly proves her acting talent. But Ha Ji Won’s triangular love story with Kang Min Hyuk and Lee Seo Won went slow and did not get much attention. Shortly after the SBS drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’ starring Lee Jong Suk and Suzy aired, the rating jumped instantly. As a result, ‘Hospital Ship’ could not afford more than 15% rating.
