Kang Min Hyuk: “13 Year-Age Difference, Good Chemistry Can Be Built Even though It Was Awkward In The Beginning”
Kang Min Hyuk CNBLUE conveyed his opinion about acting together with Ha Ji Won. In Wednesday-Thursday drama MBC ‘Hospital Ship’, Kang Min Hyuk plays the role of Kwak Hyun.
‘Hospital Ship’ is his first terrestrial drama as the main character. “I feel more responsible than being burdened as the main character. I have a sense of responsibility and try to show good acting performance”, he said.
Kang Min Hyuk said, “I give it all the time cheerfully. I have never seen or felt anything that made me uncomfortable. On the set I feel that there are some parts of Ha Ji Won that become brighter. It’s an honor to compete acting with her. I feel happy filming with her”, he talked about chemistry with Ha Ji Won.
Due to the considerable age difference, at the beginning of the chemistry episode feels like a brother and sister. “It seems the longer it gets better. This drama brings men and women at the age of 30 years. Growing up as a doctor and lover. At first it feels awkward, but it looks better. Those who watched to the end say the chemistry is good”, said Kang Min Hyuk.
He believes that the appearance of Ha Ji Won is better now than when she was still young. “I have a lot of Hyung and NooNa. Hyung, Noona, and the seniors made me comfortable on set, and Ji Won Noona is ranked 1st. Therefore I can act comfortably”, said Min Hyuk.
