‘Comeback’ IKON, 7 manly appearances… unveiled the concept posters
YG Entertainment recently just unveiled the concept posters of IKON’s newest mini album through its official blog in 25th of July.
In the blog, YG wrote ‘IKON MINI ALBUM NEW KIDS: CONTINUE 08.02’ which revealed the release date of IKON’s newest album.
This mini album is entitled ‘NEW KIDS: CONTINUE’ which will be released in 2nd of August and is the continuation of IKON’s trilogy mini album ‘NEW KIDS:BEGIN’ that was released in May last year and ‘RETURN’ which was released for their comeback in the early of this year.
In the first half of this year, IKON has successfully topped the biggest music charts in Korea for 43 days in total, including topping the Chinese largest music chart such as QQ Music for 4 weeks in consecutive. Not only in Korea and China, IKON also topped the iTunes Album Chart in Japan. They topped the music charts both domestically and internationally as they had set their own record by won 11 trophies in the music broadcasting program.
After releasing the new album, IKON will held their first performance and will greet their fans in Olympic park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul in 18th of August. Just like the no ends of road concept, IKON keeps going and rise to continue their success. Starting from Seoul, IKON will greet their overseas fans in eight big cities such as Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Jakarta and Hong Kong. More cities will be announced soon.
