A Look Back at Drama ‘Goblin’ Episode 5-1: “Kim Shin Will Love Eun Tak If Needed”
The fifth episode of ‘Goblin’ was opened with Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun) after they came back from Canada.
The atmosphere inside the car was awkward because Kim Shin remained in silence. Eun Tak then asked Kim Shin to drop her off near her hotel.
Sunny (Yoo In Na) was waiting for the grim reaper (Lee Dong Wook) to come in the place where they met before. After waiting for a long time she decided to leave and that was when she noticed the grim reaper’s presence behind her.
Sunny asked why he didn’t call her. The grim reaper then excused himself to call Sunny. She was confused and startled by the response then she took him to a cafe.
There, Sunny asked him whether he remembered her or not. The grim reaper replied, “Your name is Sun Hee”. With a frown, Sunny reminded him that her name was Sunny not Sun Hee. In the end, when Sunny asked for the grim reaper’s name, he couldn’t answer her.
Back to the hotel, Eun Tak was about to call Kim Shin when the man appeared before her to pick her up to his house.
Eun Tak was surprised, she then asked Kim Shin whether he loved her or not which Kim Shin replied, “I will love you if it’s needed. I love you”. Eun Tak was disappointed because he didn’t love her genuinely.
Because Eun Tak’s room was not yet ready, she stayed in Kim Shin’s room, while Kim Shin himself slept in the grim reaper’s room.
The next day, Kim Shin and the grim reaper were competing against each other when Ji Eun Tak appeared. Duk Hwa then visited them to teach Kim Shin and the grim reaper how to use handphone. The scene was funny because both of them couldn’t operate the smartphone.
