What Causes ‘Tomorrow With You’ Rating to Drop?
Lee Je Hoon and Shin Min Ah successfully stole viewers’ attention through their rom-com drama, ‘Tomorrow With You’, which has started airing since February 3. From its first episode, Lee Je Hoon’s acting as a time traveler has quite created a buzz among Korean drama fans.
The first episode of ‘Tomorrow With You’ scored 3,9% rating. Though it was much smaller than Goblin, which receives 6,3% rating for its first episode, the number was not that bad. However, despite being favored by a lot of fans, the rating of ‘Tomorrow With You’ keeps decreasing. For its 6th episode, the drama only managed to get 1,6% rating.
The pre-produced fantasy com-rom drama actually started well due to its excellent editing. However, many fans admitted that it was hard for them to continue watching the drama after the 1st and 2nd episode due to the drama’s quick plot and Yoo So Joon’s (Lee Je Hoon) expression, which is hard to understand.
In response to this, ‘Tomorrow With You’ PD said, “Because this drama is about a mysterious time traveler, there are some people who said that it’s hard to follow the drama. Thus, we’re preparing a highlight video to help viewers understand the plot.”
‘Tomorrow With You’ airs every Friday – Saturday at 20.00 KST.
