Kim Soo Hyun’s ‘REAL’ to be Released in June
‘Real’, a movie starring Kim Soo Hyun, will finally hit theaters this June.
On April 6, CJ E&M as the movie distributor announced that Real will be officially released in June.
It means the movie is going to finally meet audience who’s been waiting for a long time since the casts and production team finished filming it about a year ago.
‘Real’ is an action noir movie about an ambitious and cruel guy who wants to conquer the world. In this movie, Kim Soo Hyun portrays two characters.
‘Real’ has finished its filming process in June 2016. The movie’s production team initially intended the movie to be released in both Korea and China at the same time; however, due to Hallyu content ban in China, the movie’s release date keeps getting pushed farther and farther.
CJ E&M eventually decided to push back the release date for ‘Battleship Island’ and release ‘Real’ first in June, considering Kim Soo Hyun’s plan to enlist in the military this year.
‘Real’ will be Kim Soo Hyun’s comeback movie after 4 years hiatus. His previous movie was ‘Secretly, Greatly’. Public are eager to watch the actor’s performance in ‘Real’ this summer!
