GD, Kim Soo Hyun, and Oh Hyuk: The Handsome Partners of IU
On April 21st, IU will release her fourth album titled ‘Palette’ through various music sites. One month before her comeback, the first successful song ‘Through the Night’ until the second song ‘Can not Love You Anymore’ has showcased the sound of the queen. Her comeback this time will feature her collaboration with male singers who are currently trending.
In ‘Palette’, IU will collaborate with Big Bang’s G-Dragon. IU wrote and composed the song herself, while G-dragon is filling the rap part. IU sings and G-Dragon raps, it is a rare collaboration.
The second man is Kim Soo Hyun. IU ever collaborated with Kim Soo Hyun in two different dramas, KBS 2TV ‘Dream High’ and ‘Producer’. The two have been maintaining a good relationship ever since. Suggested by IU, Kim Soo Hyun accepted the offer to appear as the lead actor in IU’s music video, ‘This Ending’.
Lastly, the vocalist of Hyuk Oh band, Oh Hyuk will be collaborating with IU in ‘Can’t love Anymore’. Oh Hyuk and IU together wrote the lyrics of this song. Because the two are the same age, the two shared unique music, planned the jacket concept together and communicated directly.
