Goodbye ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’, Welcome ‘Man to Man’!
On April 15, JTBC’s Friday – Saturday drama ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ finally came to and end. This drama, in which Do Bong Soon, a girl who was born with a super strength, fights criminals and becomes a Korean ‘wonder woman’, received a lot of love from Korean drama lovers.
Despite having a small figure and innocent appearance, Park Bo Young’s display of Do Bong Soon’s strength and ‘Bo-vely’ (a nickname for the actress’ charm successfully captivated the hearts of many fans. ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ even broke JTBC’s record as the highest rated drama with more than 10% rating.
Next, ‘Man to Man’ is going to fill the slot that was previously occupied by ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’. Starring Park Hae Jin, ‘Man to Man’ is a action drama revolving around a mysterious and flexible bodyguard of a Hallyu Star. Other than Park Hae Jin, Park Sung Woong, Kim Min Jung, Chae Jung An will also appear in this pre-produced drama.
After seeing some of its tidbits and character posters, Korean netizen expected ‘Man to Man’ to be a ‘heavy’ drama, especially after seeing Park Hae Jin’s appearance with a black suit and black glasses, making the atmosphere looks mysterious and dark.
However, the latest teasers that were recently released showed the opposite of the netizen’s expectation. Instead of appearing mysterious and dark, Park Hae Jin showed a funny bromance with Park Sung Woong, who’s wearing a pajama, and posed with a hilarious wedding-like pose in another teaser with Kim Min Jung.
‘Man to Man’ drama crew said, “To those of you who have been asking about the real identity of ‘Man to Man’, all we can say is in this drama, you’ll be able to see interesting scenes of cool actions and also unexpected love story between these three main characters.”
