The Competition Between Joo Won, Kim Young Kwang, Ji Chang Wook, and Yoo Seung Ho
May will be a month full of competition between friends. In Monday-Tuesday Drama slot, there will be a competition between Joo Won and Kim Young Kwang through SBS ‘My Sassy Girl’ and MBC’s ‘Lookout’, then in Wednesday-Thursday drama slot, Ji Chang Wook through SBS’ ‘Suspicious Partner’ will be up against Yoo Seung Ho through MBC’s ‘Ruler’.
Joo Won and Kim Young Kwang both become the main character in their respective drama which will be airing every Monday and Tuesday. Previously, they have collaborated in KBS2 ‘Good Doctor’ and they are friends who share the same line (1987).
Joo Won who ever got the Grand Prize in SBS Drama Awards 2015 is now back to appear on SBS channel through his newest drama. He will be starring in the upcoming pre-production drama, ‘My Sassy Girl’, in May which will also replace ‘Whisper’. Joo Won will enter the military on May 16th, thus this drama will be the last work of Joo Won before entering the military.
Kim Young Kwang plays in MBC’s drama ‘Lookout’ which tells the story of an ordinary life of a group of people who lost their loved ones because of crimes. It is said that the script alone is already funny.
Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook and Yoo Seung Ho have worked together in SBS drama ‘Warrior Baek Dong Soo’ in 2011. Now they cannot escape the competition of their drama in May. Despite their age difference, the two are actually close friends and now they must become a rival to each other.
Ji Chang Wook successfully appeared in tvN’s ‘The K2’ last year. His next drama is SBS ‘Suspicious Partner’ which is scheduled to release on May 10. This romantic-comedy drama tells the story of prosecutor No Ji Wook and a law student named Eun Bong Hee who must undergo a series of mysterious event.
Meanwhile, Yoo Seung Ho will be playing in MBC ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’ as the crown prince Lee Sun who needs to fight against a secret organization in Joseon era.
