After being kicked out from his native country in the movie, Gong Yoo transforms into a North Korean spy, Ji Dong Chul, to have revenge upon the person who killed his daughter. Gong Yoo is stated to have fainted while filming very hardcore action scenes. But nonetheless, he was able to manage shooting the Han River falling scenes, shoulder displacement scenes, and car racing scenes, impressing the audience.
