SISTAR, Baek A Yeon, and Suran are Competing in This Week’s Music Chart
The fierce competition between Korean queens is about to begin.
This week is the week of battle for three female singers/group. SISTAR, a group which has announced their decision to disband after releasing their upcoming album, will be back on the competition. The Korean music industry will also get hotter with the emergence of Suran and Baek A Yeon.
Sistar will launch their last single on May 31st. This single is titled ‘LONELY’, made in collaboration with Black Eyed Pilseung. SISTAR has been well known as ‘Summer Queens’ and ‘Sound Queens’ thanks to the many hits that they have made. This farewell single is expected to be their best work as it’s made in collaboration with a hit-maker.
The appearance of singer Baek A Yeon is marked with the release of her 3rd mini album, ‘Bittersweet’, on May 29th, preceding SISTAR. As a female vocalist, Baek A Yeon has shown her strength through singles ‘Should not Have’ and ‘So-So’. In this new single, ‘Bittersweet’, the singer re-collaborated with her previous composer and will show the power of a music queen.
Lastly, Suran will collaborate with Dean. With her interesting voice, Suran has been called the new Korean music queen. Her most recent hit, ‘If I Get Drunk Today’, also strengthen her position on the same level as other Korean music queens. Her first mini album, ‘Walkin’, will be released on June 2nd.
