The red carpet event was also attended by Yoon Je Moon and Choi Woo Sik, who appeared in the movie. ‘Okja’ accepted the invitation from the Cannes Film Festival and was initially released on Netflix, a streaming site. “This is my first time making a movie about a love story, but the love story in this movie is of a girl’s love for a pet, not a male-female love story. I wish anyone who owns pets can watch this movie.” said Bong Joon Ho.

‘Okja’ is scheduled to be released on June 29 in Korea
