Yeoido Park Ice Skating Ring
The Ice skating area in Yeoido Park, Seoul, is opened in last December 2016. They plan to add a cultural area near the ice skating rink in Yeoido Park and it will operate until mid-February.
Other than ice skating, the visitor can also enjoy other activities such as sledding hill and snow playground.
Winter Festival at Theme Parks (Everland Romantic Illumination, Lotte World, Seoulland Christmas Festival)
Winter comes to the park in Korea even before the actual winter arrives. Starting from thrilling rides, LED lights that are glowing beautifully, to the Christmas songs that can be loudly heard everywhere, the visitors can fully enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in these three parks: Everland, Lotte World, and Seoulland.
Ski Resorts in Gangwon-do
Yongpyong Ski Resort and Phoenix Park Ski Resort are two resorts that have been opened since last November. These two resorts are opened twenty days earlier if compared than the last year. Other ski resorts in Gangwon-do also have been opened since last December. Daemyung Vivaldi Park Ski World, Alpensia Ski Resort, and High1 Ski Resort have also been opened since last November 18.
Christmas Tree in Seoul and Busan
‘Korea Christmas Tree Festival’ has been officially opened in Seoul Plaza after the ceremony on November 27. This year, the Christmas tree is decorated with thousand of blue LED lights and rose-shaped lights underneath it. Busan Christmas Tree Festival, on the other hand, is opened on 26 November. The theme for this year festival is “Happiness of Birth”, which will include a big birthday cake in the Christmas tree.
