Choi Jin Hyuk’s Incredible Acting in the Latest Episode of ‘Tunnel’
OCN’s weekend drama ‘Tunnel’, which tells of a detective named Park Kwang Ho who came from the past, played by Choi Jin Hyuk, apparently has spread great influence and attracted many public’s attention. Usually men in dramas appear relaxed, however, in this drama, Choi Jin Hyuk’s character has a fiery spirit with ‘saida-like charisma’.
One of Choi Jin Hyuk’s most prominent scene in this drama is during Jung Hoo Young (the serial killer)’s interrogation process. After Park Kwang Ho enters the interrogation room on behalf of Yoon Hyun Min, Heo Sung Tae proves that he is the witness of the murder case. He is angry over Heo Sung Tae’s murder that causes a crime to recur.
In addition, the scene in which Choi Jin Hyuk finally realized that Kim Min Sang was the killer of the case 30 years ago could be considered the best scene in ‘Tunnel’. Choi Jin Hyuk goes to the hospital where Kim Min Sung works to call him out on it. He can not hide his anger while calling Kim Min Sang.
Regarding this scene, Choi Jin Hyuk said, “When I read the script, I instantly share the same anger with my character. I think the viewers will also have the same feelings as me when watching ‘Tunnel’. Choi Jin Hyuk’s agency also added, “The story in ‘Tunnel’ is close people’s lives, dealing with public opinion and empathy, with no jokes at all. We believe that all women and men can enjoy it comfortably.”
