‘Ruler’: L Finally Knows that Yoo Seung Ho is Still Alive after 5 Years
In ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’, Lee Sun, who began to have a veiled ambition to become the real King of Joseon, was highly surprised to learn that the Crown Prince (Yoo Seung Ho) was still alive.
Episode 18 featured Lee Sun (L), who was starting to get determined to be the real King of Joseon. Previously, Lee Sun accepted Queen Dowager’s suggestion to make Ga Eun a court lady of the palace. The Queen promised Lee Sun that she would bring Ga Eun into the palace.
Lee Sun asked his guard, Hyun Suk, with a serious expression. “If the real Crown Prince is alive, will he not be affected by Pyeonsoo’s group? Can he actually save the people?”.
Hyun Suk responded by saying that questioning those things are useless since the Crown Prince was already dead, and Lee Sun was now the real King. Lee Sun said, “You keep saying that, that I’m the King. Because you continue to think that way, I’m getting ambitious. If I become a real King, I will defeat Pyeonsoo’s group, save the people, then get Lady Ga Eun… Am I allowed to dream of it?” Lee Sun starts to get determined to be the real King after meeting Ga Eun.
After Lee Sun heard that the herbal shop run by Ga Eun and his mother would soon be closed, he tried to go out of the palace to see Ga Eun, his mother, and his sister. Arriving there, Lee Sun immediately cried seeing his Mother and sister after five years. Seeing Hyun Suk, Kko Mool ran towards Lee Sun and his guard. Lee Sun was shocked to see her sister’s figure, then he hugged Kko Mool while crying. However, suddenly Dae Mok appeared out of the blue. Lee Sun was scared to death at the thought of Dae Mok knowing that her mother and sister are still alive.
However, what surprised Lee Sun more was the appearance of the Crown Prince, whom he saw carrying Kko Mool and being called ‘Brother’ by her. Lee Sun, who thought the Crown Prince was already dead, tried to save the Crown Prince by distracting Dae Mok. He kneeled and begged for Dae Mok’s forgiveness. After knowing that Prince Seon was already alive, what will Lee Sun do next?
