Song Joong Ki Shares His Thoughts on ‘Battleship Island’
Actor Song Joong Ki gave his impression of playing in the movie ‘Battleship Island’.
According to him, “The movie ‘Battleship Island’ for me is a work which has a deep meaning. I got a very valuable experience. The film ‘Battleship Island’ is filled with the best director, actors, and staffs. Truly a valuable experience. I want to give praise to the director and the staff”.
The reason So Ji Sub and Song Joong Ki accepted the offer to play in the movie ‘Battleship Island’ is because of Director Ryoo Seung Wan. So Ji Sub said, “It’s been a long time since I wanted to play in director Ryoo Seung Wan’s work. I did not even read the scenario. After I decided to play, I was worried. I wonder if I can do it well”.
Lee Jung Hyun said, “I am very happy to play in director Ryoo Seung Wan’s work. And it is a pride to be playing with Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki, and Kim Soo Ahn. It gives me strength. Makes myself full of energy”.
The film ‘Battleship Island’ tells the story of the Korean people who are trying to escape from a Japanese warship (Hasima, shaped like a warship) during the Japanese colonization. Ryoo Seung Wan’s previous movie ‘Veteran’ was watched by 1341 people and the movie ‘Battleship Island’ is starring Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki, Lee Jung Hyun and Kim Soo Ahn. The film ‘Battleship Island’ will be released this summer in July.
