‘Ruler’ Yoo Seung Ho and L’s Friendship and Rivalry
‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’ Yoo Seung Ho saves the life of his rival, L. The relationship between the two is like a bromance. On June 15, MBC ‘Ruler’, Lee Seon (L) could not take the medicine and he almost died.
Crown Prince (Yoo Seung Ho) is trying to save him. Crown Prince and Lee Seon are competing to get Han Ga Eun (Kim So Hyun). But before that, they are friends who have the same name. Lee Seon became the crown prince to trick Pyeonsoo. The crown prince sees a suffering Lee Seon and feels guilty.
Lee Seon cries in the crown prince’s arms. Lee Seon asked why he should suffer due to change of status and when will he be able to return. Lee Seon cannot breathe properly, the crown prince also feels his pain.
The crown prince came to Daemok (Heo Joon Ho)’s house to look for the antidote. The crown prince was almost get caught by Daemok’s men, but thanks to Kim Hwa Goon (Yoon So Hee), he survived.
Lee Seon who does not know the crown prince’s struggle is convinced that he will die. Therefore, Lee Seon confessed his feelings to Han Ga Eun, but Han Ga Eun said he liked the crown prince and rejected Lee Seon. Lee Seon opens his mask and tries to show his face. Then the crown prince returned and gave Lee Seon an antidote.
For the crown prince, Lee Seon is the person who has the same name as him and is his very first friend. But in a love relationship, both are a rival to each other. Plus the crown prince feels indebted to him because he replaces himself as the king.
For Lee Seon too, the crown prince is a precious person. He feels grateful to anyone who wants to avenge his father who was killed by Pyeonsoo group. The crown prince is also a generous man, saving his life from death.
Lee Seon and Crown Prince both have feelings towards Han Ga Eun. The episode shows a complicated bromance of the two and adds the excitement in the drama.
