Yoo Seung Ho Wants to Reclaim His Throne in ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’
On July 5th in the episode of Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’, Crown Prince Seon (Yoo Seung Ho) decided to reclaim his throne.
In this episode, Kim Hwa Goon (Yoon So Hee) who burned the flower garden did not regret her choice, while Daemok was highly furious knowing that his garden was burned to the ground. The head of Bureau lied to Dae Mok, “The Crown Prince did it! He burned the field of flowers and fled.” But Dae Mok soon discovered that he lied. Eventually, Dae Mok directed his sword toward Kim Hwa Goon. Hwa Goon remembered her first meeting with the Crown Prince. She said, “Your Majesty”, while killing herself. Kim Woo Jae sobbed as he hugged his daughter.
“Is Pyeonsoo more important than blood and family?!” Woo Jae shouted to Daemok. “A father has destroyed his son. The son will leave his father.” Then, Woo Jae left Pyeonsoo.
In another place, Han Ga Eun confronted Lee Seon (L) regarding his cooperation with the leader of Bureau of Water Supply. “If you work with him, you will soon become just like him.” Han Ga Eun said. Lee Seon stopped the conversation by saying, “Enough!”
At the end, Crown Prince Lee Seon finally met Han Ga Eun. “Are you really back? I love you.” said Ga Eun, confessing her feelings. The two then kissed each other.
Han Ga Eun advised the Crown Prince to reclaim his throne. “Your honor, you have never behaved harshly to your people. I still remember the smile on their happy faces whenever they saw you. It’s not about blood ties, but more about your love for the people,” Ga Eun said.
After knowing that the Crown Prince is still alive, Lee Seon the fake King came to Dae Mok. “I have a plan,” He tried to negotiate. “I will take whatever belongs to the Crown Prince.”
Along with the news of Hwa Goon’s death, Goon handed a hit list to the Crown Prince. The Crown Prince then gathered his closest people and declared that he’s going to reclaim his throne. “When I become the King, I’ll catch Pyeonsoo. But to make it happen, I must become King first.”
Viewers are intrigued by a scene from the preview of next episode, in which the Crown Prince takes off his mask and said, “I am the real King of Joseon.”
