Yoona Admits to Love Her ‘Girl-Crush’ Character in ‘The King Loves’
On July 24th, MBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘The King Loves’ held a press conference with Yoona, Hong Jong Hyun, Oh Min Suk and Jang Young Nam present.
Yoona expressed her feelings about being in a pre-produced drama. “This is my first time doing a pre-produced drama. I’m very curious about the result. I’ve seen episode 1 and 2, it’s my first time having the same position with the viewers when I’m watching a drama.” She also said, “It took us six months to finish filming the whole drama, but when I watched it, I felt like it was such a long time ago.”
Regarding her character which is said to have a ‘Girl Crush’ charisma, Yoona commented, “Yes, it’s a Girl Crush character that I have never been able to show until this moment. I wonder how many people will see it,”
She also added, “San will continue to be a charming Girl Crush, but there are many emotional lines coming in the future. Please expect a variety of appearances.”
‘The King Loves’ is a story set in Goryeo, in which there is a love triangle between Wang Won (Im Si Wan), Eun San (Yoona), Wang Rin (Hong Jong Hyun). This work is 100% pre-production.
The drama first premiered its episode on July 17th. The main lead, singer and actor Im Si Wan had entered the army on July 11th, right after completing the filming process.
