‘While You Were Sleeping’ is a drama that is 100% produced before airing. The drama team started filming in March, and is scheduled for completion in June. However, due to various things, filming was postponed several times until it ended up completed in July. The drama will be scheduled as a replacement for ‘Reunited Worlds’, and its first episode will air sometime in September.

‘While You Were Sleeping’ tells the story of a woman who had an accident, since then, she was able to see the various future occurrences through her dreams. On the other hand, there is a prosecutor who is trying to prevent the dreams from becoming reality. This is a new masterpiece by author Park Hye Ryun, who previously wrote ‘Dream High’, ‘I Hear Your Voice’, and ‘Pinocchio’. The drama is highly anticipated because Lee Jong Suk and Suzy, the two main players, have already collaborated and teamed up with Park Hye Ryun.

Lee Jong Suk plays as Jung Jae Chan, a prosecutor in the state prosecutor’s office. He has a flat expression and can not laugh. He does not have a lover or important connection in his workplace, and is considered weak. Since junior high school, he never ranks last in school. He tried to make his father, who is a policeman, proud, by working as a prosecutor.

Meanwhile, Suzy transformed into a short-haired girl who uses glasses. Since the accident, she begins to wake up and find her nightmare becoming reality. If we can not change the future, the best thing that we can do is avoid it. That’s the life principle of Suzy’s character before meeting Lee Jong Suk’s character.
