Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo Have Announced the Venue for their Wedding Ceremony!
Celebrity power couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have finally announced that they’re going to hold their wedding ceremony at Shilla Hotel, Seoul.
Today, August 7th, representatives of the couple confirmed this news by saying, “Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo have decided to hold their wedding at Shilla Hotel.”
The couple, who started dating during the filming of 2016 phenomenal drama ‘Descendants of the Sun’, announced that they’re getting married this October in the beginning of July. News regarding their marriage has gathered keen interest regarding the venue, and the fortunate place that the couple choose turns out to be Shilla Hotel.
As Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo are huge Hallyu stars with outstanding popularity in Korea and Asia, their wedding announcement has prompted so many brands, companies, even government parties to place their offers for sponsorship. However, the couple had politely rejected all sponsorship proposals, saying that they hope to hold a ‘non-sponsored wedding ceremony’.
Shilla Hotel, which is run by Lee Bu Jin, eldest son of Samsung Group’s leader, is one of the best hotels in Korea. Many celebrity couples had their wedding in this hotel, including Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young, Kwon Sang Woo and Son Taeyoung, also Moon Hee Jun and Soyul. The reason stars often choose Shilla as the venue for their wedding is because the hotel is very strict regarding their customer’s privacy. Holding a wedding in Shilla is very convenient because it will prevent external exposure from medias. Usually, medias are only allowed to come during the wedding’s press conference.
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo’s wedding will be held on October 31st, 2017.
