‘Hospital Ship’ Episodes 7 and 8 Highlight Ha Ji Won’s Tears and Kang Min Hyuk’s Wound In The Past
The figure of Ha Ji Won and Kang Min Hyuk who become genuine doctors has led a series of events in ‘Hospital Ship’. On the 7th of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Hospital Ship’ episode 7 and 8, Song Eun Jae (Ha Ji Won) and Kwak Hyun’s (Kang Min Hyuk) traumatic experiences in the past were revealed.
Song Eun Jae told Park Oh Wol a patient with severe cirrhosis that she should get surgery but Park Oh Wol rejected it. Song Eun Jae remembered her mother when she heard Park Oh Wol wanting to use her surgery money for her daughter’s wedding expenses.
“Do you think your daughter will be grateful?” Song Eun Jae asked. Hearing this Park Oh Wol kept insisting to not getting surgery. Song Eun Jae finally went looking for Park Oh Wol’s daughter. “I want to give you a chance, I did not have another chance but Park Sun Hwa still has a chance”, she said while explaining about his mother’s surgery.
Hearing the words of Song Eun Jae, Park Oh Wol’s daughter supported her mother’s surgery and the operation finally performed successfully. Park Oh Wol is a paranormal who can see supernatural spirits. “Seeing you so sad like this makes your mother difficult to rest in peace”, said Park Oh Wol talking about her mother. Song Eun Jae looked back at the memories of her mother and said “I’m sorry” while criying.
At the same time the wound Kwak Hyun had was revealed. Kwak Hyun cried seeing his father who lost his memory. “That guy did not run away that night, so you went looking for him all night and nothing happened”, said Kwak Hyun’s mother. This revealed the trauma experienced by Kwak Hyun has something to do with his father.
Kwak Hyun could not persuade Park Oh Wol and showed the trauma is bigger than he thought. Song Eun Jae asked, “Do you have post trauma? Are you going to make a fatal mistake to the patient?” Kwak Hyun was slightly offended and angry. He also said that not everyone is like her.
Kwak Hyun who has cheerful and bright personality also has wounds, and Song Eun Jae who looks cool and cold was sobbing to recall the memories of her mother. Each of them expericed painful memories and decided to return to the hospital ship.
