In the last episode, Goblin Kim Shin (Gong Yoo), who is living his eternal life all alone, finally meets the reincarnation of Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun), Goblin’s bride. In her previous life, Ji Eun Tak died because she wanted to save pre-school students from an accident.

The Grim Reaper (Lee Dong Wook) and Sunny (Yoo In Na) couple, who in the previous life were Wang Seo and Kim Sun and could not be together, are also given their happy ending by meeting as two new people: A detective and an actress. Grim Reaper and Sunny also did not end up together due to Sunny’s death and Grim Reaper’s end of duty.

Writer Kim Eun Sook finished ‘Goblin’ strongly by intertwining various aspects, for example, the illustration of life and death, reincarnation, a human’s will (which is outside of God’s realm), and many others. After KBS drama ‘Descendants of the Sun’, Kim Eun Sook worked once again with director Lee Eung Book, and together they created a masterpiece with a strong and beautiful depiction.
