‘While You Were Sleeping’ Episodes 1 and 2, Lee Jong Suk and Bae Suzy’s Breathtaking Romance

Lee Jong Suk and Suzy’s acting has impressed the audience. On the 27th of SBS ‘While You Were Sleeping’ episodes 1 and 2, Jung Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk), a 3rd division detective who became a prosecutor dreamt about the future of Nam Hong Joo (Bae Suzy).

Suzy became a more mature actress in front of the viewers. She Debuted as a girl group member of Miss A, and her acting debut through the drama ‘Dream High’. Suzy managed to grab the attention of viewers with more mature acting skills.

To begin with, Suzy awakened from a dream that felt so vivid. She appeared on the screen with strange hairstyle and no makeup. Suzy showed her natural performance when acting with her mother played by Hwang Young Hee.

Suzy was afraid of the dream which kept haunting her every day, and she dreamed of her mother’s death and felt very anxious. To prevent her dreams from coming true, Suzy cut her own hair with scissors. In order to protect her mother, she also made the audience shook. In the real world, her long hair that she has maintained for 7 years must be cut. We can feel her enthusiasm for this scene.

Suzy’s enthusiasm did not just stop there. Accused of being the one who caused the accident, she also attempted to commit suicide after knowing her mother was dead because of her. In fact, it has been reported that Suzy jumped from a high place without using a stunt woman. For the sake of a drama, she was willing to do so.

The message that she  wanted to convey was portrayed from her eyes. The anxiety, fear, and sadness were shown through the eyes and emotions, making the audience more interested and impressed with this drama.

Their first encounter looked romantic, though both quarreling they still raised curiosity about how the fate will be in the future. The appearance of the Queen of Romantic Comedy and King of Chemistry has raised viewers’ expectations for an extraordinary melodrama storyline.
