BTS has participated with UNICEF campaign against violence against children for 2 years. The UNICEF party introduced donation content.
UNICEF said, “BTS has released music that shows its concerns about teenagers at the age of 20 years and grows into an influential artist in the world. Through this agreement, BTS and Big Hit Entertainment will donate 500 million won to the UNICEF Korea Committee in November. In the next 2 years, they will donate 3% of revenues from the sales of the series ‘LOVE YOURSELF’. They support the campaign by raising funds from total net sales profits.
Manager Bang Si Hyuk delivered, “BTS has grown into a world artist. The ‘Love My Self’ campaign is a contribution to bringing new changes into music through an activity. Being number one and contributing to society is a different meaning. This is a way to expand the role of artists who have a positive influence and be able to bring about change. BTS inserts social messages to teenagers who live in the same neighborhood, since their debut. I think it’s time for improvement in various things. The 2-year campaign will talk about true love. By loving ourselves, we try to see life from a more mature side. “
