tvN to Remake Various Dramas, from ‘She Loves to Lie’ to ‘Bride of Haebaek’
This year, cable channel tvN will air 3 remade dramas and films, starting from ‘She Loves to Lie’ and ‘Bride of Haebaek’.
‘She Loves to Lie’ is a romance between a music composer and a girl who loves music. Lee Hyeong Woo and Red Velvet’s Joy are predicted to be the perfect couple to portray the characters.
In addition, ‘Introvert Boss’ is also set to be aired on March 16th.
In the middle of the year, ‘Bride of Habaek’ will also be remade. Writer Yoon Mi Kyeong uses the same title as the comic book. The original story of Haebaek is centered around a woman who sacrifices herself to Haebaek (God of Water) to save a village from drought. The drama will be set in Seoul during the modern era and moves according to spatial background. The genre of this drama will be romantic comedy.
Lastly is Mother, which was originally a Japanese dorama aired by NTV. The story is centered around a kid who is being tortured by her mother and then kidnapped by someone who will replace the original mother. Abandoned kid, the love of a mother, and a woman’s psychological side are illustrated very well in this drama.
