‘Hwayugi’ Released Appealing Character’s Poster of Lee Seung Gi, Cha Seung Won, and Oh Yeon Seo Yang
tvN’s new Saturday-Sunday drama ‘Hwayugi’ will premiere on December 23rd. The drama is captured from an ancient novel that tells of the journey of Son Oh Gong and King Woo Ma in search of light in a dark life. The drama starring Lee Seung Gi, Cha Seung Won, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Hong Ki, and Jang Kwang. ‘Hwayugi’ has released character posters featuring Son Oh Gong, King Woo Ma, Jin Sun Mi, P.K, and Yoon Dae Sik.
Lee Seung Gi plays the role of Son Oh Gong, the eternal devil. In Lee Seung Gi’s poster, there is a monkey image in the photo frame, Son Oh Gong described as a gigantic monkey born from a volcano. Lee Seung Gi’s unique hairstyle reminds us of Son Oh Gong, we can feel his cocky side from the look of his gaze.
Cha Seung Won plays the role of King Woo Ma, a holy and noble person. Cha Seung Won’s performance is filled with a gentle and cool atmosphere, we can feel the character of King Woo Ma as CEO of the largest entertainment company in Korea.
Among the five Hwayugi characters, Oh Yeon Seo’s character creates a mysterious nuance. Inside the poster, there are photos of flowers inside the frame. Jin Sun Mi, the character played by Oh Yeon Seo makes audience curious on how she will complicate Son Oh Gong.
Lee Hong Ki plays a big role as P.K. He is a top star, Lee Hong Ki has a bright hairstyle and is expected to have a different character than the patkai we’ve known.
Lastly there is Jang Kwang, a chairman of the big company and is the youngest god. His appearance is far from the word ‘the youngest god’, his character will invite laughter because of his frequent jokes with Son Oh Gong in a remarkable way.
