Namgung Min and Ha Seok Jin’s Similarity, from Supporting Actor to Main Actor of a Drama
The similarity of the ‘late bloomers’ Namgung Min and Ha Seok Jin has attracted public attention.
Namgung Min started to arouse public interest through his friendly image after appearing in MBC’s ‘We Got Married’ back in 2004. Then, he suddenly transformed himself by acting as a cruel chaebol (heir of a company) in SBS drama ‘Remember’ in 2015. After that, in 2016, Namgung Min got his first main role after 18 years of acting career in ‘Beautiful Gong Shim’, in which he successfully portrayed a character who’s sincere but awkward in love.
The drama that he’s currently starring in, the KBS Wednesday-Thursday ‘Chief Kim’, managed to achieve first place of viewer rating.
Meanwhile, Ha Seok Jin has also started his ‘movement’ toward fame. Ha Seok Jin’s name and face are starting to get public recognition after his appearance in tvN’s ‘Sexy Brain: Problematic Men’ and MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’ in 2015. Before that, Ha Seok Jin’s was not very well known. His ‘Four dimensions’ charm helps him to be more well-known among public. In 2015, Ha Seok Jin also received his first commercial offer.
After that, Ha Seok Jin achieved success through his role in tvN’s drama ‘Drinking Solo’. His popularity got even bigger with his participation as the main character in the newest MBC drama ‘Self Radiation Office’, which will air next March. Ha Seok Jin will act as someone with a ‘sharp tongue’ and is dubbed as ‘someone who does not have blood and tears’. In this drama, he will ‘change’ into a staff of a furniture company.
