The Emptiness of ‘Goblin’: Is It Really Impossible For A Season 2?
After the last episode aired, so many people are doing the parody of ‘Goblin’. It shows the enthusiasm from the public who seems to hope for a season 2. Even after two weeks after its last episode aired, ‘Goblin’ popularity can still be strongly felt.
On February 5, one of the ‘Goblin’ soundtracks which was released on January 7, Ailee’s ‘I Will Go To You Like the First Snow’ conquered the third position in three different music charts, Melon, Naver Music, and Monkey3.
It has been a month since this song topped the charts and showed the ‘Goblin’ power. Not only through the OST, other Hallyu stars also participated in the ‘Goblin parody’ bandwagon.
tvN’s ‘Comedy Big League’ did a parody of ‘Goblin’ on the fifth of February. The show successfully gathered a lot of laughter.
G-Dragon also posted a picture on his personal Instagram with the caption, “Please pull my sword. Be my bride”. In the picture, G-dragon is seen having the same sword embedded in his chest just like Kim Shin.
‘Will this drama have a continuation” is the hope of the fans. The audience seems to wish for a season 2.
