‘Defendant’: Ji Sung’s Counterattack for Uhm Ki Joon

In the latest episode of ‘Defendant’ (20/2), Jung Woo (Ji Sung) was determined to break through the prison gate to look for his daughter, Ha Yeon.

In the episode, Jung Woo, who has remembered what happened during her wife’s murder, deceived Cha Min Ho (Uhm Ki Joon) so that he would be moved to another cell. Previously, Cha Min Ho intentionally entered Jung Woo’s cell room in order to kill Ji Sung.

Jung Woo got his memory back. That night, Min Ho killed Ji Soo and threatened the life of Ha Yeon. To Jung Woo, Min Ho declared himself as his brother, Sun Ho. Min Ho threatened Jung Woo by forcing Jung Woo to submit himself as the murderer of Ji Soo. If Jung Woo refused to comply, then Ha Yeon would die.

However, Jung Woo had another proof. A drop of Min Ho’s blood is still attached in the knife that was used to kill Ji Soo, and at that moment, Jung Woo had that knife in his hands.

To have his revenge on Min Ho, Jung Woo pretended not to remember that tragic night.

Jung Woo told Eun Hye that the real convict is Min Ho, and that he would have his revenge on Min Ho by using that knife. Jung Woo told Eun Hye to take care of Ha Yaeon.

On the other hand, Sung Gyoo had lunch with Ha Yeon. His expression seemed guilty. To pay his guilt for not being able to take care of his own sister, Sung Gyoo took care of Ha Yaeon. Unfortunately, Ha Yeon then was seen to be calling Kang Joon Hyuk and now, Joon Hyuk knew that Ha Yeon was still alive.

What will happen next?
