‘Saimdang’: Can Lee Young Ae Overcome Her Trauma and Paint Again?
In the 9th episode of ‘Saimdang: Light’s Diary’ (22/2), Saimdang still could not hold a brush because she kept remembering her trauma in Eunpyong.
Saimdang, who had amazing sensitivity in art, stopped creating arts because she got married and wanted to raise her kids. To cover her husband’s inability to work for his family, instead of making more paintings, Saimdang made papers to be sold.
Though so, Saimdang’s heart is still in art. Seeing a painting drawn by Lee Gyeom, Saimdang’s heart became warm and she imagined herself painting again.
Unfortunately, Saimdang was still suffering from her trauma due to what happened in Eunpyong. Whieumdang, who was blinded by her envy of Saimdang’s talent and also Lee Gyeom’s attraction toward Saimdang, intentionally chose the ‘Eunpyong’ theme on the painting and poetry exhibition at school.
Whieumdang’s son and mother got the first place for the exhibition. Lee Gyeom, who watched Saimdang having difficulties, immediately came and helped Saimdang.
How will the rivality between Saimdang and Whieumdang continue, and will Saimdang be able to overcome her Eunpyong trauma?
