Taeyeon is Not ‘Fine’

On February 28, Taeyeon officially released the music video of her title track ‘Fine’, from her first full album, ‘My Voice’. With 13 tracks in total, we can hear a wide range of genre in her full album, from acoustic to electric guitar sound.

The title song, ‘Fine’, is a pop alternative track diluted in soft melody. This song has a very different feel than ‘I Got Love’. In ‘Fine’, Taeyeon expresses the feeling of someone who’s hurt after a breakup. In contrast to the name of the song, ‘Fine’ is actually about someone who’s missing her ex even after a long time, someone who’s not ‘Fine’.

The music video starts with Taeyon talking to someone on the phone. The conversation seems like a daily chit chat, “I went to salon yesterday, to change my hair color,”. The phone call was ended with a sad “Good bye.” The shooting location was made to mimic the mood of someone who’s hurt due to a bad breakup.
