Song Joong Ki to Win Daesang for Acting in Korean PD Award?
Actor Song Joong Ki of ‘Descendants of the Sun’ might win a Grand Prize in Korean PD Award.
According to a source, Song Joong Ki will attend the ’29th Korean PD Award’ on March 17. It is speculated that his attendance means the actor is going to receive an award.
‘Korean PD Award’ is an awarding event held by South Korean producers and directors. The source speculated that Song Joong Ki will receive an award from the Acting category. Last year, the actor who was given this award was Ji Sung, for his performance in ‘Kill Me, Heal Me’.
According to the information, Song Joong Ki ranked first on the voting ballot due to his excellent acting in KBS’ ‘Descendants of the Sun’, which were highly popular not only in Korea but also in other countries.
Previously, Song Joong Ki and his co-star, Song Hye Kyo, won a Grand Prize in ‘2016 KBS Drama Awards’.
At the moment, the actor is waiting for the release of his new movie, ‘Battleship Island’. Joong Ki is currently resting and selecting his next project.
