Suzy and Kim Go Eun Used to be ‘Fitting Models’ Prior to Their Debut
On April 23, MBC Entertainment’s ‘Section TV Entertainment News’ (or Section TV) revealed some photos of Suzy and Kim Go Eun which were taken during their pre-debut days.
Suzy and Kim Go Eun were revealed to have worked as fitting models in the past. Suzy worked as a fitting model before debuting with Miss A to improve her family’s financial situation. She once admitted that she did not make enough money by being a fitting model, thus she worked hard to debut as a singer.
Kim Go Eun also started as a fitting model before debuting as an actress in ‘A Muse’. She said, “When I look at the photos [from my fitting model days], I feel like I looked at a pure teenager who’s still genuine and innocent.”
Fitting models are ‘live mannequin’, people who are used by fashion designers or clothing brands to model for their products. The main purpose is usually to check whether the clothes fit well and how the clothes look like when they are used by ‘real’ human beings.
