The VOD Sales of ‘Goblin’ Surpasses ‘Descendants of the Sun’
The success of the Goblins is certainly undeniable.
tvN’s drama, ‘Goblin’, which has ended in January is recorded as the best drama with VOD sales of 140 billion won.
On April 26, based on the information from TV Cable.IPTV Industry, from December last year to February this year, the total sales of ‘Goblin’ VOD reached 140 billion won.
Based on the number of users, ‘Goblin’ will still be watched by about 15 to 16 million people.
In addition to being the most successful drama cable, the VOD sales of ‘Goblin’ also experienced the same thing.
Previously, the best VOD sales were achieved by KBS 2TV drama ‘Descendant of The Sun’ and drama tvN ‘Reply 1988’, now ‘Goblin’ occupies that position.
The sales of each episode of ‘Reply 1988’ was about 3 billion won while the VOD sales of ‘Reply 1988’ reached 70 billion won.
‘Descendants of the Sun’ did not announce the sale of their VOD, but mentioned that the result is not much different from the sales of ‘Reply 1988’.
But now the sale of VOD ‘Goblin’ surpassed both dramas. It is estimated that every episode of ‘Goblin’ is sold for about 9 billion won.
