May ‘Girl Crush’ List: Kim Ji Won, Oh Yeon Seo, and Lee Si Young
Kim Ji Won, Oh Yeon Seo, and Lee Si Young will appear in Korean television screens in the near future to complete your long list of Girl Crush(es)!
Last year, in KBS 2TV’s ‘Descendants of the Sun’ which gained a lot of support, Kim Ji Won played as a charming military doctor named Yoon Myung Joo’s. Now, she will return in ‘Ssam, My Way’ as a brave woman who aspires to be an announcer but in reality only works on the information desk at a mall named Choi Ae Ra. Despite being faced with a bitter reality, Choi Ae Ra remains attractive and becomes everyone’s girl crush.
Oh Yeon Seo also appeared as a girl crush in her previous work. Last year, in SBS drama ‘Please Come Back Mister’, she became a character named Han Hong Nan who has a brief experience what it feels like to be woman. Though her outward appearance is female, inside, he is actually a cunning male. In ‘Please Come Back Mister’ Oh Yeon Seo showed a great performance and she plans on showing another ‘girl crush’ charm in her upcoming drama.
In SBS ‘My Sassy Girl’, Oh Yeon Seo plays a character with a strange personality. Oh Yeon Seo’s character is depicted as a Joseon princess who is not concerned with the strict rules that exist and can not stand the injustice that is happening in the palace.
Another girl crush, Lee Si Young, has found the best role for her. In ‘Lookout’, Lee Si Young will become Jo Soo Ji, a shooting athlete former criminal murder. As many people had already known, Lee Si Young was originally a boxer, so she does not have problem in playing this role. In ‘Lookout’, Lee Si Young will display many interesting action scenes. In contrast to her previous works, OCN ‘My Beautiful Bride’ and KBS 2TV ‘Wild Romance’, action scenes are new to the actress, so fans are very eagerly waiting for her performance in ‘Lookout’.
‘Ssam, My Way’ will start airing on 22 May at 10 PM KST, while ‘My Sassy Girl’ and ‘Lookout’ will start airing at the end of May.
