Kim Ji Won Warns Park Seo Joon to Not Cross the Line of Their Friendship in ‘Fight For My Way’
In the third episode of KBS’ Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Fight for My Way’ (29/5), Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won) warns Ko Dong Man (Park Seo Joon) not to cross the limit of their friendship.
Ko Dong Man and Choi Ae Ra had a drink together on the roof of their building. That day, Choi Ae Ra was happy to be able to do a broadcast at the mall where she works. Ko Dong Man told Choi Ae Ra, “I want to tell you to try to be an announcer again, but I do not want to sound like your assistant.” Any conversation about dreams always become a bitter memory for them because they are aware of their lack of ability.
Then, Choi Ae Ra casually put her head and slept in Ko Dong Man’s hands. After that, Ko Dong Man tried to touch Choi Ae Ra’s smooth cheeks, but he was instantly caught by Choi Ae Ra.
Choi Ae Ra immediately said, “Do not do that. Yesterday, after coming home from the police station, you suddenly hugged me, but I did not say anything. I’m warning you now, never touch me again.” Choi Ae Ra honestly said, “I came from a village, I’m not the girl who can easily accept these kinds of gestures.”
However, their awkwardness did not last long as they are friends who always need each other. In the following days, Choi Ae Ra got disappointed because she failed to become the new announcer in the department store, while Ko Dong Man was humiliated by his senior at work. Both of them understood each other as they were experiencing the same thing: The bitterness of life.
When Ko Dong Man learned that Choi Ae Ra was extremely disappointed because she did not get the position as the new announcer at the mall yet she was still holding her feelings, Dong Man said, “If you want to cry, just cry. You look ugly holding back your tears when all you want to do is cry.” Finally, Choi Ae Ra burst into tears in Dong Man’s arms.
The thrill among them is stronger than their 20 years long friendship, as Ko Dong Man and Choi Ae Ra have always shared their difficulties and happiness at each other. Watch the continuation of their story in ‘Fight for My Way’, airing every Monday and Tuesday in KBS at 10 pm KST.
