BTS Ways to Fill Their Hiatus Days From TV Broadcast

K-pop has become popular all over the world, and many idol groups are working overseas. As a result, they cannot avoid taking a hiatus from the broadcast in their country for at least a few months, but they don’t spend that time just like that. Although they aren’t doing an official music activity, they fill it with a project through SNS.

BTS announced their comeback in September. In February, they released a new album about 7 months after the second regular repackage album “WINGS Outside: You Never Walk Alone”. Meanwhile, they held 32 concerts in 17 cities in 10 countries around the world through ‘2017 Live Traffic Trial’ EPISODE III THE WINGS TOUR’.

BTS has been constantly releasing a new content for fans. On June 13th, BTS opened the ‘FESTA’ project, which is a celebration of their debut anniversary. Through this, for 2 weeks (June 1st – 14th) every member released their pictures, special videos, cover songs, and released their own songs. On the anniversary of their debut, they held a fan meeting and showed a special stage.

After ‘FESTA’, they broadcast a reality show program. This is BON VOYAGE SEASON2 which aired on Naver V Live+ from last June. It will be aired till August 22nd and will include their trip to Hawaii.

In addition, they visited the official Twitter and fan cafe almost every day to communicate with their fans, until they got an award known as the ‘Billboard Music Awards’, thanks to the fans despite their hiatus. On the afternoon of July 28, the number of followers of BTS’s official Twitter account exceeded 7 million, proving their worldwide popularity.
