Monsta X Wonho Was Absent in Showcase, Diagnosed with Meningitis
Wonho Monsta X was not present in Monsta X’s showcase and was suspected of having meningitis. Monsta X held their fifth mini album showcase ‘THE CODE’ at Changchung Gymnasium, Seoul, Korea on the 7th and released the song ‘DRAMARAMA’ for the first time.
At the showcase, Wonho one of its members could not participate. Jo Jung Hyun, who hosted the show said, “Wonho suffered cold sores since last week and rested after receiving medical treatment at the hospital. The symptoms do not improve when undergoing CT examination. He was diagnosed with meningitis. He is taking a rest right now, so he was not able to participate in the showcase this time.”
‘DRAMARAMA’ is an urban funk style that emphasizes the uniqueness of hip-hop style of Monsta X. Joo Hun and I.M participate in rap making. We can feel the intense sound with the original guitar on the intro part, the punk style, and the bass 808. The exciting voice of the members becomes dominant, as well as the intense rap battle between Joo Hun and I.M make a good sound.
Monsta X prove their progress by completing the first world tour, 18 shows in 16 cities across 11 countries since the announcement of the first regular album ‘SHINE FOREVER’ was released in June. Fans anticipate the new charms they will show through the new song ‘DRAMARAMA’.
