Ji Chang Wook about ‘Fabricated City’: “More Difficult than it Looks in the Movie”
Ji Chang Wook shares his difficulties when shooting ‘Fabricated City’.
During ‘Fabricated City’ movie premiere last January 31st, Ji Chang Wook revealed his difficulties when doing action and cashing scenes for the movie. “Since this is my first time acting in an action movie, I did not know what to say [regarding doing the action and chasing scenes]. That was really difficult to do.”
He continued, “When I was watching the movie, it feels like all those hard times come again. Not only me, but all actors, actress, and staffs have worked really hard. Like when doing the prison scene, it was really tiring. The whole thing was more difficult than it looks like in the movie. In the final cut, the prison scene is very short, but I always remember how many times we have to retake the scene during filming. It was a really tough experience.”
In ‘Fabricated City’, there is a 3 minutes 16 seconds long scene of murder action which involves a man and other game members. Ji Chang Wook plays as Kwon Yoo, who’s actually an unemployed man in real rife, but a reliable leader in the virtual game world. Shim Eun Kyung plays an amateur hacker, while Ahn Jae Hong plays a special effect staff. The film itself will air in theaters on February 9th.
